This 2010 policy discussion paper was produced by the Canadian Nurses Association following a review of their social justice initiative. The resource includes an updated version of the Social Justice Gauge, a tool to assess programs, policies, and products.

Rio Political Declaration on Social Determinants of Health

The Rio Declaration is a call by the World Health Organization to end health inequities world-wide. Published in October, 2011, it outlines a global political commitment to eliminate health inequities and the underlying social conditions that cause them.
