Thirteen public interventions in Canada that have contributed to a reduction in health inequalities
This report examines 13 programs or policies that have had some success in reducing health inequalities in Canada. All of the selected interventions set out to reduce health inequities through the social determinants of health, and they were evaluated using current medical evidence-based standards.

Tackling the wider determinants of health and health inequalities: evidence from systematic reviews
This review-of-reviews identified 32 recent systematic reviews of interventions aimed at influencing health and health inequalities through the social determinants of health. There was some evidence that housing and work environment interventions have the potential to reduce health “inequalities.”
