Ils ont voulu ainsi explorer la mesure dans laquelle les th&egrave;mes du livre s&rsquo;appliquent &agrave; l&rsquo;action men&eacute;e en sant&eacute; publique pour favoriser l&rsquo;&eacute;quit&eacute; en sant&eacute;.&nbsp;<\/em><em>Le webinaire a permettis ainsi d&rsquo;examiner les liens entre le contenu du livre et la perspective des praticiens quant &agrave; son application en sant&eacute; publique.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;autod&eacute;termination est consid&eacute;r&eacute;e comme un d&eacute;terminant de la sant&eacute; chez les peuples et les collectivit&eacute;s autochtones. Il faut comprendre les contextes historiques et sociopolitiques, y compris les structures du pouvoir et le colonialisme, qui agissent sur la sant&eacute; et le mieux-&ecirc;tre des peuples autochtones si on veut mettre sur pied en sant&eacute; publique les bonnes strat&eacute;gies pour favoriser l&rsquo;&eacute;quit&eacute; en sant&eacute;.<br \/>\nLe pr&eacute;sent webinaire vise &agrave; examiner ce qu&rsquo;implique le r&ocirc;le d&rsquo;alli&eacute; des peuples et des collectivit&eacute;s autochtones sur les plans organisationnel et syst&eacute;mique. Il y sera question de l&rsquo;importance de la participation des collectivit&eacute;s autochtones &agrave; l&rsquo;atteinte de l&rsquo;&eacute;quit&eacute; en sant&eacute;, en insistant sur le r&ocirc;le que doivent jouer les praticiens dans des lieux g&eacute;ographiques tr&egrave;s vari&eacute;s. Il y sera &eacute;galement question des &eacute;tapes &agrave; suivre pour r&eacute;ussir une d&eacute;marche fructueuse aupr&egrave;s des peuples autochtones, y compris la mani&egrave;re de s&rsquo;y prendre pour nouer des relations l&agrave; o&ugrave; il n&rsquo;y en a jamais eu.
