Quelle est la corr&eacute;lation entre racisme et travail?<\/p>\n<p>Le &laquo;&thinsp;code de couleurs&thinsp;&raquo; du march&eacute; du travail canadien fait en sorte que les iniquit&eacute;s de race et de genre persistent sur les plans de l&rsquo;emploi et du revenu. Tout au long du cycle de l&rsquo;emploi (p.&nbsp;ex. type de poste, recrutement, embauche, r&eacute;tention et promotion), le racisme syst&eacute;mique vient exacerber les iniquit&eacute;s de race et de genre en mati&egrave;re d&rsquo;emploi et de revenu.<\/p>\n<h3>\nIniquit&eacute;s raciales dans le secteur public<\/h3>\n<p>Les organismes du secteur public, y compris ceux de la sant&eacute; publique, sont &agrave; m&ecirc;me de jouer un r&ocirc;le dans l&rsquo;&eacute;valuation et l&rsquo;&eacute;limination des iniquit&eacute;s raciales associ&eacute;es &agrave; l&rsquo;emploi, &agrave; commencer par leur lieu de contr&ocirc;le le plus direct&nbsp;: leur propre cour. Ils peuvent ainsi tout de suite utiliser des pratiques d&rsquo;emploi &eacute;quitables du point de vue racial.<\/p>\n<p>Il existe des strat&eacute;gies de changement organisationnel positif et de pratiques de travail positives qui permettent d&rsquo;agir directement sur le racisme et d&rsquo;am&eacute;liorer les perspectives de travail et de revenu. Quelques organismes du secteur public en ont d&rsquo;ailleurs d&eacute;j&agrave; fait usage.<\/p>\n<h3>\nChangement dans les organismes de sant&eacute; publique<\/h3>\n<p>&Agrave; titre d&rsquo;employeur, les organismes de sant&eacute;
