Ces documents se veulent des outils d&rsquo;apprentissage. Ils visent &agrave; aider le personnel de la sant&eacute; publique &agrave; s&rsquo;int&eacute;resser aux caract&eacute;ristiques d&rsquo;un leadership efficace pour faire avancer l&rsquo;&eacute;quit&eacute; en sant&eacute; de m&ecirc;me qu&rsquo;aux strat&eacute;gies et conditions propices &agrave; l&rsquo;acquisition et au renforcement de ces qualit&eacute;s chez les leaders de tous les &eacute;chelons dans le secteur de la sant&eacute; publique.<\/em><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Les dirigeants en sant&eacute; publique ont profit&eacute; de la publication de donn&eacute;es sanitaires pertinentes, comparatives et sp&eacute;cifiques &agrave; Winnipeg &ndash; et aussi d&rsquo;un int&eacute;r&ecirc;t m&eacute;diatique possible &ndash; pour attirer l&rsquo;attention des gestionnaires r&eacute;gionaux sur l&rsquo;&eacute;tat de sant&eacute; des populations des quartiers les plus pauvres de Winnipeg. En effet, celles-ci se pr&eacute;sentaient dans les &eacute;tablissements hospitaliers de la ville deux ou trois fois &ndash; parfois m&ecirc;me cinq fois &#8211; plus souvent que les r&eacute;sidents les plus riches. Les donn&eacute;es ont eu l&rsquo;effet d&rsquo;un v&eacute;ritable d&eacute;clencheur de l&rsquo;action &agrave; laquelle participent maintenant les gestionnaires de toutes les zones de la r&eacute;gion sanitaire. Elles ont &eacute;galement men&eacute; au renforcement des liens entre les organismes de lutte contre la pauvret&eacute; et autres organismes communautaires.
