Le minist&egrave;re de la Sant&eacute; et des Soins de longue dur&eacute;e de l&rsquo;Ontario a cr&eacute;&eacute; cet outil pour aider les d&eacute;cideurs &agrave; renforcer les effets positifs et &agrave; att&eacute;nuer les effets n&eacute;gatifs des d&eacute;cisions organisationnelles sur les disparit&eacute;s en sant&eacute;. Cet outil peut servir &agrave; mieux faire connaitre les mesures favorisant l&rsquo;&eacute;quit&eacute; en sant&eacute; au sein d&rsquo;un organisme et &agrave; en renforcer la capacit&eacute;. Il s&rsquo;agit en fait d&rsquo;inciter les personnes responsables de la planification &agrave; se poser des questions, telles que : &laquo; Comment faire profiter les programmes &agrave; plus de personnes, surtout celles les plus souvent laiss&eacute;es pour compte? &raquo; ou &laquo; Qu&rsquo;est-ce qui peut emp&ecirc;cher d&rsquo;avoir acc&egrave;s &agrave; ce service? &raquo;<\/p>\n<p>\tL&rsquo;outil comprend deux &eacute;l&eacute;ments : un guide de travail dans lequel on explique les cinq &eacute;tapes de mise en &oelig;uvre de l&rsquo;EIES de m&ecirc;me qu&rsquo;un mod&egrave;le o&ugrave; les utilisateurs peuvent consigner leurs r&eacute;sultats &agrave; la suite de chacune des &eacute;tapes. Les cinq &eacute;tapes du processus d&rsquo;EIES sont : 1) d&eacute;limitation, 2) impacts possibles, 3) mitigation, 4) surveillance et 5) diffusion.<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;outil comprend un suppl&eacute;ment destin&eacute; aux bureaux de sant&eacute; publique dans lequel on fait &eacute;tat des consid&eacute;rations particuli&egrave;res pour le secteur de m&ecirc;me qu&rsquo;un suppl&eacute;ment concernant les services en fran&ccedil;ais destin&eacute; au personnel ayant des responsabilit&eacute;s pr&eacute;cises en mati&egrave;re de langue.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Servez-vous de cet outil pour :<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>vous aider &agrave; d&eacute;terminer les effets non intentionnels possibles (positifs et n&eacute;gatifs) que peut produire le processus d&eacute;cisionnel sur l&rsquo;&eacute;quit&eacute; en sant&eacute; dans des tranches de populations donn&eacute;es<\/li>\n<li>soutenir les am&eacute;liorations par rapport &agrave; l&rsquo;&eacute;quit&eacute; dans le processus de planification ou d&rsquo;&eacute;laboration des politiques, des programmes ou des services<\/li>\n<li>int&eacute;grer la notion de l&rsquo;&eacute;quit&eacute; dans les processus d&eacute;cisionnels organisationnels<\/li>\n<li>renforcer la capacit&eacute; et favoriser la sensibilisation au sujet de l&rsquo;&eacute;quit&eacute; en sant&eacute; dans toutes les activit&eacute;s de votre organisme<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\n\tMinist&egrave;re de la Sant&eacute; et des Soins de longue dur&eacute;e (2012). <em>Outil d&rsquo;&eacute;valuation de l&rsquo;impact sur l&rsquo;&eacute;quit&eacute; en mati&egrave;re de sant&eacute;.<\/em>Toronto, Ontario: auteur.
