Chapter 13."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>L&rsquo;&Eacute;tude POWER (Projet d&rsquo;&eacute;laboration du Rapport bas&eacute; sur des donn&eacute;es probantes de l&rsquo;Ontario sur la sant&eacute; des femmes) est une enqu&ecirc;te pluriannuelle sur l&rsquo;&eacute;tat de sant&eacute; des femmes qui a men&eacute; &agrave; la production des 13 chapitres du Rapport sur la sant&eacute; des femmes en Ontario. Les auteurs se penchent sur les diff&eacute;rences entre les hommes et les femmes &agrave; la lumi&egrave;re d&rsquo;une exhaustive s&eacute;rie d&rsquo;indicateurs de sant&eacute; fond&eacute;s sur des donn&eacute;es probantes.<br \/>\n\t&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Dans le chapitre 13, on pr&eacute;sente les le&ccedil;ons importantes issues de l&rsquo;&eacute;tude en plus de recommander certaines orientations en mati&egrave;re de politique pour favoriser l&rsquo;&eacute;quit&eacute; en sant&eacute;. Par exemple, on constate que les iniquit&eacute;s en sant&eacute; et la capacit&eacute; d&rsquo;une personne &agrave; fonctionner au quotidien d&eacute;passent largement les iniquit&eacute;s par rapport aux soins de sant&eacute; et &agrave; la qualit&eacute; des soins et qu&rsquo;il serait donc opportun de cibler les d&eacute;terminants sociaux de la sant&eacute;. Par ailleurs, les diff&eacute;rences observ&eacute;es dans l&rsquo;&eacute;tat de sant&eacute; selon que l&rsquo;on est une femme ou un homme font ressortir l&rsquo;importance d&rsquo;en venir &agrave; des solutions qui tiennent compte de la sp&eacute;cificit&eacute; des sexes. Les auteurs proposent de restructurer le syst&egrave;me de soins de sant&eacute; de l&rsquo;Ontario de mani&egrave;re &agrave; prioriser : 1) les interventions en amont destin&eacute;es &agrave; agir sur les d&eacute;terminants sociaux de la sant&eacute;, 2) la pr&eacute;vention et la gestion des maladies chroniques, 3) les soins ax&eacute;s sur le patient, 4) l&rsquo;int&eacute;gration des services et la coordination des soins et 5) l&rsquo;innovation, l&rsquo;apprentissage et la recherche.<br \/>\n\t&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Les auteurs proposent en outre 27 indicateurs pour surveiller l&rsquo;&eacute;quit&eacute; en sant&eacute; et pour guider et &eacute;valuer les interventions. Ils examinent ensuite les possibilit&eacute;s d&rsquo;am&eacute;liorer la capacit&eacute; des organismes relativement &agrave; la collecte des donn&eacute;es sur l&rsquo;&eacute;quit&eacute; en sant&eacute;.
