On y donne un aper&ccedil;u des constatations faites apr&egrave;s une revue ind&eacute;pendante men&eacute;e durant deux ans et dirig&eacute;e par Sir Michael Marmot, qui est &agrave; la t&ecirc;te du <a href=\"http:\/\/www.instituteofhealthequity.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">University College London (UCL) Institute of Health Equity<\/a>&nbsp;(en anglais seulement)&nbsp;et l&rsquo;ancien pr&eacute;sident de la Commission des d&eacute;terminants sociaux de la sant&eacute; de l&rsquo;Organisation mondiale de la Sant&eacute;, qui a publi&eacute; en 2008 <a href=\"http:\/\/nccdh-dev.media-doc.ca\/fr\/resources\/entry\/closing-the-gap-in-a-generation-health-equity-through-action-on-the-social\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Combler le foss&eacute; en une g&eacute;n&eacute;ration : Instaurer l&rsquo;&eacute;quit&eacute; en sant&eacute; en agissant sur les d&eacute;terminants sociaux.<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\n\t\tLe rapport Marmot contient des donn&eacute;es probantes sur la situation des iniquit&eacute;s en sant&eacute; en Angleterre et une analyse des politiques, des d&eacute;marches et des syst&egrave;mes de prestation en place pour diminuer l&rsquo;&eacute;cart entre les personnes les plus et les moins en sant&eacute;. En s&rsquo;appuyant sur ces donn&eacute;es probantes, les auteurs recommandent six objectifs ax&eacute;s sur les politiques, notamment :<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>\n\t\t\tdonner &agrave; chaque enfant le meilleur d&eacute;part dans la vie;<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\tcr&eacute;er des possibilit&eacute;s d&rsquo;emploi &eacute;quitables et convenables; et<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\t&eacute;tablir et d&eacute;velopper des localit&eacute;s et des collectivit&eacute;s saines et viables.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>\n\t\tIls ont ensuite subdivis&eacute; ces objectifs en 20 recommandations encore une fois centr&eacute;es sur les politiques.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\tLes auteurs sont d&rsquo;avis que l&rsquo;action men&eacute;e pour att&eacute;nuer les iniquit&eacute;s en sant&eacute; doit engager les organismes et les structures dirigeantes en dehors du secteur de la sant&eacute; et s&rsquo;inscrire dans les politiques &eacute;manant de tous les paliers de gouvernement. Ce rapport int&eacute;ressera les responsables de l&rsquo;&eacute;laboration des politiques aux &eacute;chelons local, r&eacute;gional et national qui, &agrave; la lumi&egrave;re des donn&eacute;es probantes, cr&eacute;ent leurs propres strat&eacute;gies en vue d&rsquo;arriver &agrave; une distribution plus &eacute;quitable de la sant&eacute;.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\tDepuis la publication de la revue, les responsables de l&rsquo;Institut ont aid&eacute; &agrave; concr&eacute;tiser les recommandations partout en Angleterre, notamment en contribuant &agrave; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.london.gov.uk\/sites\/default\/files\/mayors_his_delivery_plan_indicator_report_final.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">la strat&eacute;gie en mati&egrave;re d&rsquo;iniquit&eacute;s en sant&eacute; du maire de Londres<\/a>&nbsp;(en anglais seulement)&nbsp;et en collaborant avec le London Health Observatory au <a href=\"http:\/\/www.boltonshealthmatters.org\/knowledgehub\/marmot-indicators-local-authorities-england\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">suivi des principaux indicateurs propos&eacute;s dans la revue.<\/a>&nbsp;(en anglais seulement)<\/p>\n<h3>\n\t\t<strong>Servez-vous de cet outil pour&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>\n\t\t\tmieux comprendre comment les donn&eacute;es probantes li&eacute;es aux iniquit&eacute;s en sant&eacute; peuvent se traduire en recommandations et en actions tangibles au chapitre des politiques mises de l&rsquo;avant &agrave; tous les paliers de gouvernement et dans tous les secteurs d&rsquo;activit&eacute;;<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\tprendre connaissance d&rsquo;un cadre visant la r&eacute;alisation et la surveillance des att&eacute;nuations en mati&egrave;re d&rsquo;iniquit&eacute;s en sant&eacute; sur le gradient social, qui comprend une liste des indicateurs de processus, des indicateurs de sortie et des exemples associ&eacute;s &agrave; chacune des 20 recommandations relatives aux politiques.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>\n\t\tR&eacute;f&eacute;rence bibliographique<\/h3>\n<p>\n\t\tThe Marmot Review (2010).
