Les prix ont &eacute;t&eacute; d&eacute;cern&eacute;s dans le cadre d&rsquo;une initiative de plus grande port&eacute;e qui vise &agrave; reconna&icirc;tre et &agrave; pousser les progr&egrave;s r&eacute;alis&eacute;s dans les bureaux de sant&eacute; locaux, y compris les organismes et les coalitions r&eacute;gionales avec lesquels ils travaillent, qui s&rsquo;investissent dans des projets novateurs pour att&eacute;nuer les iniquit&eacute;s de sant&eacute;. L&rsquo;objectif est d&rsquo;aider &agrave; &eacute;tablir de nouvelles normes en mati&egrave;re de pratiques pour l&rsquo;&eacute;quit&eacute; en sant&eacute; dans les bureaux de sant&eacute; en faisant valoir les initiatives efficaces pouvant servir d&rsquo;exemples et en accordant des fonds pour soutenir les approches prometteuses. Trois prix &eacute;taient accompagn&eacute;s d&rsquo;une subvention de 25 000 $, et l&rsquo;Arnold X. Perkins Award for Outstanding Health Equity Practice &eacute;tait accompagn&eacute; d&rsquo;une subvention de 100 000 $.<\/p>\n<p>Les &eacute;tudes de cas font &eacute;tat des r&eacute;ussites, des obstacles, de la vision d&rsquo;avenir et des le&ccedil;ons apprises dans le contexte d&rsquo;efforts d&eacute;ploy&eacute;s pour se rapprocher le plus possible de l&rsquo;&eacute;quit&eacute; en sant&eacute;. Pour chacune, les auteurs font la description des partenariats &eacute;tablis &agrave; l&rsquo;&eacute;chelle locale, des r&eacute;sultats obtenus et du r&ocirc;le jou&eacute; par le bureau de la sant&eacute; publique. En plus de cette description &eacute;crite, les auteurs donnent l&rsquo;hyperlien vers une vid&eacute;o o&ugrave; les responsables de la r&eacute;gion expliquent leur r&eacute;alit&eacute;. Les projets mis sur pied concernent notamment l&rsquo;&eacute;ducation, la garde d&rsquo;enfants, le d&eacute;veloppement &eacute;conomique local, les rapports sur l&rsquo;&eacute;tat de sant&eacute; des populations, l&rsquo;acc&egrave;s aux services de sant&eacute; publique, les parcs et les loisirs et le logement abordable.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Le rapport se termine sur une explication des le&ccedil;ons apprises, par exemple :<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Le nommer &ndash; il est important que ce soit clair pour tout le monde que le travail pour am&eacute;liorer les r&eacute;sultats de sant&eacute; se veut du travail pour l&rsquo;&eacute;quit&eacute; en sant&eacute;.<\/li>\n<li>Mieux faire comprendre l&rsquo;&eacute;quit&eacute; en sant&eacute; au personnel et lui donner la capacit&eacute; d&rsquo;&oelig;uvrer dans ce sens &ndash; par exemple, en faisant tomber les cloisons, en posant des questions, en apprenant des autres et en utilisant de mani&egrave;re cr&eacute;ative les fonds &agrave; sa disposition.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborer &ndash; en &eacute;tablissant des liens, en mettant au d&eacute;fi la population sans essayer de la changer, en montrant ce qui est gagnant-gagnant, en sachant quand pousser et quand prendre du recul, en pr&eacute;sentant les donn&eacute;es, en maintenant la collectivit&eacute; mobilis&eacute;e et en faisant preuve de patience.<\/li>\n<li>Mobiliser la population en utilisant les m&eacute;dias strat&eacute;giquement &ndash; en sensibilisant les journalistes et en trouvant des fa&ccedil;ons de faire entendre la &laquo; voix authentique &raquo; des gens qui ont une exp&eacute;rience concr&egrave;te.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Servez-vous de cet outil pour :<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>trouver des exemples de mesures applicables en sant&eacute; publique pour faire avancer l&rsquo;&eacute;quit&eacute; en sant&eacute; et s&rsquo;en servir pour &eacute;tayer leur processus de planification et d&rsquo;&eacute;valuation;<\/li>\n<li>animer une discussion sur les moyens &agrave; prendre pour am&eacute;liorer la capacit&eacute; organisationnelle de mobiliser la population;<\/li>\n<li>r&eacute;unir les principaux intervenants afin d&rsquo;explorer les occasions que devrait saisir la sant&eacute; publique pour soutenir l&rsquo;action collaborative de mani&egrave;re &agrave; att&eacute;nuer les iniquit&eacute;s de sant&eacute;.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>R&eacute;f&eacute;rence bibliographique :<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Gehlert, H.
