Sachant l&rsquo;incidence que pourrait avoir une telle initiative au cours des trois ou quatre prochaines d&eacute;cennies, les &eacute;quipes de la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saskatoonhealthregion.ca\/publichealth\">Saskatoon Health Region &ndash; Population and Public Health<\/a> et d&rsquo;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.thinkupstream.net\/en_amont\">Upstream-En-amont<\/a>, un mouvement de Saskatoon vou&eacute; &agrave; la cr&eacute;ation d&rsquo;une soci&eacute;t&eacute; en sant&eacute; en s&rsquo;inspirant d&rsquo;id&eacute;es fond&eacute;es sur des donn&eacute;es probantes et centr&eacute;es sur les personnes, ont uni leurs forces pour r&eacute;aliser une &eacute;valuation de l&rsquo;impact sur l&rsquo;&eacute;quit&eacute; en mati&egrave;re de sant&eacute; (EIES) sur le plan de croissance de la Ville.<\/p>\n<p>Les auteurs soulignent que, outre son objectif de croissance, la Ville pourrait se concentrer sur la qualit&eacute; de vie de la population et adopter une position proactive par rapport aux effets n&eacute;gatifs que pourrait produire la croissance. Ils montrent, exemples &agrave; l&rsquo;appui, les effets directs que peuvent avoir des changements d&rsquo;ordre municipal sur le bien-&ecirc;tre de l&rsquo;ensemble de la population, en plus des mesures intentionnelles visant &agrave; am&eacute;liorer&nbsp; la sant&eacute; des personnes vivant dans les quartiers &agrave; faible revenu.<\/p>\n<p>Les auteurs du rapport proposent d&rsquo;instaurer le plan de croissance en tenant compte de la &laquo; perspective de la sant&eacute; &raquo; et formulent 13 recommandations quant aux initiatives mentionn&eacute;es dans le plan. Ces recommandations portent sur les changements qui se produiront au cours des quatre prochaines ann&eacute;es dans les domaines du transport en commun, de l&rsquo;am&eacute;nagement de l&rsquo;espace inutilis&eacute; et du transport actif. Les auteurs estiment qu&rsquo;il faudrait r&eacute;aliser d&rsquo;autres EIES &agrave; mesure qu&rsquo;&eacute;voluera le plan de croissance, et y int&eacute;grer des composantes d&rsquo;engagement communautaire et de suivi de la progression.<\/p>\n<p>Quelques-unes des recommandations formul&eacute;es dans le rapport :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>assurer une mixit&eacute; des types d&rsquo;habitations, y compris accorder une importance d&eacute;lib&eacute;r&eacute;e au logement abordable<\/li>\n<li>accro&icirc;tre le nombre d&rsquo;espaces verts et d&rsquo;arbres<\/li>\n<li>offrir une r&eacute;duction sur la carte d&rsquo;autobus qui soit proportionnelle au revenu<\/li>\n<li>intensifier le service de transport en commun dans les quartiers &agrave; faible revenu<\/li>\n<li>encourager l&rsquo;offre d&rsquo;un meilleur service le long des trajets de transport actif et en commun afin d&rsquo;am&eacute;liorer l&rsquo;acc&egrave;s aux services<\/li>\n<li>investir tr&egrave;s t&ocirc;t et massivement dans la planification des projets d&rsquo;infrastructure n&eacute;cessaires au transport actif ainsi que dans leur accessibilit&eacute; et leur entretien annuel, particuli&egrave;rement dans les zones &agrave; faible revenu<\/li>\n<li>int&eacute;grer l&rsquo;infrastructure du transport actif &agrave; celle du transport en commun<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Servez-vous de cet outil pour :<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>enrichir vos connaissances sur l&rsquo;influence de l&rsquo;environnement b&acirc;ti sur la sant&eacute; et le bien-&ecirc;tre;<\/li>\n<li>&eacute;laborer des interventions qui concernent l&rsquo;infrastructure et la sant&eacute;;<\/li>\n<li>soutenir ou r&eacute;aliser une EIES sur le plan de croissance de votre municipalit&eacute;.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>R&eacute;f&eacute;rence bibliographique :<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sharpe, C., C.
