Le Groupe de travail sur la s&eacute;curit&eacute; alimentaire de l&rsquo;organisme a pass&eacute; en revue et collig&eacute; des travaux de recherche afin d&rsquo;&eacute;tayer la position selon laquelle les mesures ax&eacute;es sur des politiques du revenu afin de r&eacute;duire la pauvret&eacute; se r&eacute;v&eacute;leraient les plus aptes &agrave; mettre fin &agrave; l&rsquo;ins&eacute;curit&eacute; alimentaire.<\/p>\n<h3>\n\tDomaines d&rsquo;intervention<\/h3>\n<p>Les questions abord&eacute;es sont les cons&eacute;quences de l&rsquo;ins&eacute;curit&eacute; alimentaire sur la sant&eacute; et les soins de sant&eacute;, les groupes de population touch&eacute;s de mani&egrave;re disproportionn&eacute;e et le manque d&rsquo;efficacit&eacute; des programmes de bienfaisance et de litt&eacute;ratie alimentaire.<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;&eacute;nonc&eacute; de position fait aussi &eacute;tat des mesures possibles, y compris l&rsquo;augmentation des prestations d&rsquo;aide sociale, du revenu de base garanti, du salaire et des avantages sociaux minimums et des logements abordables.<\/p>\n<h3>\n\tRecommandations<\/h3>\n<p>Le plaidoyer fait partie des recommandations formul&eacute;es &agrave; l&rsquo;intention des praticiens de la sant&eacute; publique. Il faudrait viser des changements dans les politiques et la r&eacute;duction de la pauvret&eacute; en tant que cause profonde de l&rsquo;ins&eacute;curit&eacute; alimentaire. Ces recommandations strat&eacute;giques s&rsquo;adressent aux gouvernements f&eacute;d&eacute;ral, provinciaux, territoriaux, municipaux et autochtones, de m&ecirc;me qu&rsquo;aux conseils de sant&eacute;. Elles s&rsquo;ajoutent aux arguments&nbsp;pour que l&rsquo;ins&eacute;curit&eacute; alimentaire soit per&ccedil;ue comme un probl&egrave;me de droits de la personne et de justice sociale qui n&eacute;cessite une intervention imm&eacute;diate. Les praticiens de la sant&eacute; publique peuvent s&rsquo;appuyer sur cet &eacute;nonc&eacute; de position pour faire valoir le bien-fond&eacute; des solutions ax&eacute;es sur des politiques du revenu.<\/p>\n<p>Ils peuvent &eacute;galement se servir de l&rsquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.odph.ca\/upload\/membership\/document\/2020-12\/fncentslessinfographicdec2020.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">infographie sur l&rsquo;ins&eacute;curit&eacute; alimentaire<\/a>&nbsp;dans leurs activit&eacute;s de plaidoyer et de sensibilisation. L&rsquo;infographie fait le r&eacute;sum&eacute; de l&rsquo;&eacute;nonc&eacute; de position et des recommandations qui tournent autour des politiques.<\/p>\n<h3>\n\tServez-vous de cet outil pour&nbsp;:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>faciliter une discussion sur la mani&egrave;re d&rsquo;orienter les solutions sur une d&eacute;marche ax&eacute;e sur les politiques de revenu au lieu de continuer avec des programmes de bienfaisance et de litt&eacute;ratie alimentaire;<\/li>\n<li>plaider pour un revenu de base garanti et des changements aux dispositions l&eacute;gislatives de mani&egrave;re &agrave; lutter contre la pauvret&eacute; en tant que d&eacute;terminant sous-jacent de l&rsquo;ins&eacute;curit&eacute; alimentaire;<\/li>\n<li>montrer en quoi l&rsquo;ins&eacute;curit&eacute; alimentaire est un d&eacute;terminant social de la sant&eacute; qui amplifie les iniquit&eacute;s de sant&eacute;;<\/li>\n<li>favoriser les communications avec les parties prenantes du milieu de la sant&eacute; publique et de l&rsquo;ext&eacute;rieur afin d&rsquo;encourager la lutte contre la pauvret&eacute;.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>\n\tR&eacute;f&eacute;rence bibliographique&nbsp;:<\/h3>\n<p>Di&eacute;t&eacute;tistes en sant&eacute; publique de l&rsquo;Ontario.
