Elle vise &agrave; donner aux acteurs de la sant&eacute; publique une description de huit grandes approches utilis&eacute;es couramment pour r&eacute;duire les in&eacute;galit&eacute;s de sant&eacute;. Les auteures y abordent les fondements th&eacute;oriques des huit approches pour agir sur les in&eacute;galit&eacute;s de sant&eacute; et les diff&eacute;rences dans les effets que chacune est susceptible de produire sur la r&eacute;duction des in&eacute;galit&eacute;s de sant&eacute;.<\/p>\n<p>Trois fa&ccedil;ons d&rsquo;envisager les in&eacute;galit&eacute;s de sant&eacute; y sont examin&eacute;es : cibler les groupes d&eacute;favoris&eacute;s, combler les &eacute;carts, et intervenir sur l&rsquo;ensemble du gradient. Les auteures expliquent la diff&eacute;rence entre les d&eacute;terminants de la sant&eacute; et les d&eacute;terminants des in&eacute;galit&eacute;s de sant&eacute;, y compris les approches ax&eacute;es sur les politiques propres &agrave; agir positivement sur les divers d&eacute;terminants. Pour d&eacute;crire les effets possibles, les auteures explorent l&rsquo;influence de chaque approche sur la stratification sociale, l&rsquo;exposition aux facteurs de risque, la vuln&eacute;rabilit&eacute; de certains groupes devant des conditions de vie particuli&egrave;res et les cons&eacute;quences in&eacute;quitables qu&rsquo;entra&icirc;nent ces conditions de vie.<\/p>\n<p>Les approches abord&eacute;es dans le document sont :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>l&rsquo;&eacute;conomie politique,<\/li>\n<li>les politiques macrosociales,<\/li>\n<li>l&rsquo;intersectionalit&eacute;,<\/li>\n<li>l&rsquo;approche ax&eacute;e sur le parcours de vie,<\/li>\n<li>l&rsquo;approche ax&eacute;e sur les milieux,<\/li>\n<li>les approches qui visent les conditions de vie,<\/li>\n<li>les approches qui ciblent les communaut&eacute;s,<\/li>\n<li>les approches qui ciblent les personnes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Servez-vous de cet outil pour:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>d&eacute;terminer et distinguer les approches qui peuvent &ecirc;tre utilis&eacute;es pour am&eacute;liorer l&rsquo;&eacute;quit&eacute; en sant&eacute;;<\/li>\n<li>d&eacute;terminer les effets que sont susceptibles de produire les diverses approches pour favoriser l&rsquo;&eacute;quit&eacute; en sant&eacute; et choisir votre d&eacute;marche en fonction du r&eacute;sultat escompt&eacute;;<\/li>\n<li>d&eacute;crire les diff&eacute;rences entre les d&eacute;terminants sociaux de la sant&eacute; et les d&eacute;terminants sociaux des in&eacute;galit&eacute;s de sant&eacute;.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>R&eacute;f&eacute;rence bibliographique :<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mantoura, P. et V.
