En novembre 2016, le gouvernement du Qu&eacute;bec adoptait une nouvelle loi afin de mieux harmoniser la formation et l&rsquo;emploi et de faciliter ainsi l&rsquo;entr&eacute;e sur le march&eacute; du travail (projet de loi 70) [<a href=\"#R\u00e9f\u00e9rence 2\">2<\/a>]. Avec sa r&eacute;forme, le gouvernement contraint les nouveaux demandeurs d&rsquo;aide sociale &agrave; s&rsquo;inscrire &agrave; un programme de r&eacute;insertion en emploi appel&eacute; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.objectifemploi.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Objectif emploi<\/a> ou de subir des p&eacute;nalit&eacute;s financi&egrave;res, c&rsquo;est-&agrave;-dire une r&eacute;duction de leurs prestations d&rsquo;aide sociale.<\/p>\n<p>Dans leur m&eacute;moire au gouvernement du Qu&eacute;bec, les directeurs r&eacute;gionaux de sant&eacute; publique de la Mont&eacute;r&eacute;gie et de Montr&eacute;al plaident pour que soient retir&eacute;es les p&eacute;nalit&eacute;s financi&egrave;res pr&eacute;vues advenant le d&eacute;faut de participer au programme. Ils font valoir que l&rsquo;instauration des p&eacute;nalit&eacute;s financi&egrave;res risquent d&rsquo;accro&icirc;tre l&rsquo;ins&eacute;curit&eacute; alimentaire et l&rsquo;itin&eacute;rance dans leurs r&eacute;gions [<a href=\"#R\u00e9f\u00e9rence 3\">3<\/a>].
