On y fait valoir l&rsquo;urgence de d&eacute;ployer les mesures n&eacute;cessaires pour atteindre l&rsquo;&eacute;quit&eacute; en sant&eacute; en expliquant que le fardeau qu&rsquo;entra&icirc;nent les iniquit&eacute;s en termes de maladies fait augmenter les d&eacute;penses du syst&egrave;me de soins de sant&eacute;, des assureurs, des employeurs, des patients et des familles[<a href=\"#R\u00e9f\u00e9rence\">1<\/a>].<\/p>\n<p>Dans leur livre blanc, les auteurs offrent un cadre d&rsquo;intervention en cinq volets que peuvent suivre les organismes de soins de sant&eacute; pour faire de l&rsquo;&eacute;quit&eacute; en sant&eacute; une priorit&eacute; pour l&rsquo;ensemble du syst&egrave;me[<a href=\"#R\u00e9f\u00e9rence\">1<\/a>].<\/p>\n<h3>Les cinq volets sont[<a href=\"#R\u00e9f\u00e9rence\">1<\/a>] p. 11 :<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>faire de l&rsquo;&eacute;quit&eacute; en sant&eacute; une priorit&eacute; strat&eacute;gique;<\/li>\n<li>mettre en place les structures et les processus n&eacute;cessaires pour soutenir la d&eacute;marche en mati&egrave;re d&rsquo;&eacute;quit&eacute; en sant&eacute;;<\/li>\n<li>mettre en &oelig;uvre les strat&eacute;gies voulues pour agir sur les multiples d&eacute;terminants de la sant&eacute; sur lesquels les organismes de soins de sant&eacute; peuvent avoir une incidence directe;<\/li>\n<li>att&eacute;nuer le racisme institutionnel au sein de l&rsquo;organisme;<\/li>\n<li>&eacute;tablir avec des organismes communautaires des partenariats ayant pour but d&rsquo;am&eacute;liorer la sant&eacute; et l&rsquo;&eacute;quit&eacute;.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Le livre blanc comporte en outre une &eacute;tude de cas sur un organisme de soins de sant&eacute; qui veille depuis longtemps &agrave; int&eacute;grer la perspective d&rsquo;&eacute;quit&eacute; en sant&eacute; &agrave; l&rsquo;&eacute;chelle syst&eacute;mique, de m&ecirc;me qu&rsquo;un outil d&rsquo;auto-&eacute;valuation en mati&egrave;re d&rsquo;&eacute;quit&eacute; en sant&eacute; mis au point pour les organismes de soins de sant&eacute;.<\/p>\n<h3>Servez-vous de cet outil pour :<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>piloter l&rsquo;int&eacute;gration de la perspective d&rsquo;&eacute;quit&eacute; en sant&eacute; dans votre organisme de soins de sant&eacute;;<\/li>\n<li>faire l&rsquo;auto-&eacute;valuation de votre organisme au chapitre de l&rsquo;&eacute;quit&eacute; en sant&eacute;.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>R&eacute;f&eacute;rence bibliographique<\/h3>\n<p>Wyatt, R., M.
