Les enfants marginalis&eacute;s durant la petite enfance pr&eacute;sentent un risque plus &eacute;lev&eacute; d&rsquo;avoir des probl&egrave;mes de sant&eacute; tout au long de la vie par la suite, y compris de subir des dommages irr&eacute;versibles &agrave; leur d&eacute;veloppement global.<\/p>\n<p>Pour am&eacute;liorer la sant&eacute; des populations, il faut intervenir sur les facteurs de risque li&eacute;s &agrave; la sant&eacute; d&eacute;veloppementale de l&rsquo;enfant d&rsquo;un bout &agrave; l&rsquo;autre du gradient social, y compris mettre en place des strat&eacute;gies con&ccedil;ues sp&eacute;cifiquement pour les enfants les plus vuln&eacute;rables.<\/p>\n<h3>Recherches sur l&rsquo;&eacute;tat de sant&eacute; des enfants<\/h3>\n<p>Le r&eacute;seau de recherche du <a href=\"http:\/\/earlylearning.ubc.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Human Early Learning Partnership<\/a> (HELP; en anglais) &agrave; l&rsquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ubc.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Universit&eacute; de la Colombie-Britannique<\/a> s&rsquo;int&eacute;resse au d&eacute;veloppement de la petite enfance en s&rsquo;appuyant sur une perspective interdisciplinaire qui repose sur trois champs d&rsquo;int&eacute;r&ecirc;t :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>la relation entre la biologie et le d&eacute;veloppement;<\/li>\n<li>l&rsquo;influence de la petite enfance sur les stades de d&eacute;veloppement subs&eacute;quents;<\/li>\n<li>la surveillance des politiques et des programmes afin d&rsquo;att&eacute;nuer la vuln&eacute;rabilit&eacute; des enfants.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>La note d&rsquo;information traite sommairement des concepts d&rsquo;<a href=\"http:\/\/nccdh-dev.media-doc.ca\/fr\/resources\/entry\/lets-talk-universal-and-targeted-approaches\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\">universalit&eacute; proportionn&eacute;e<\/a> et de gradient social, de la relation entre le statut socio&eacute;conomique et le d&eacute;veloppement de la petite enfance et de l&rsquo;importance de modifier le gradient social pour am&eacute;liorer les r&eacute;sultats de sant&eacute; chez les enfants.<\/p>\n<p>On y insiste en outre sur l&rsquo;importance de pr&eacute;voir des strat&eacute;gies &agrave; la fois universelles et cibl&eacute;es.
