Les a&icirc;n&eacute;s des communaut&eacute;s&#8239;2SLGBTQI+ font fr&eacute;quemment l&rsquo;objet de stigmatisation et de discrimination tout au long du continuum de soins de sant&eacute;, ce qui a des effets d&eacute;l&eacute;t&egrave;res pour leur sant&eacute; et leur mieux-&ecirc;tre physique et psychologique.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Conform&eacute;ment &agrave; la recommandation&#8239;22 formul&eacute;e dans la Toronto Seniors Strategy&#8239;2.0, (strat&eacute;gie&#8239;2.0 de Toronto concernant les a&icirc;n&eacute;s), les &eacute;quipes des services aux a&icirc;n&eacute;s et des soins de longue dur&eacute;e de la Ville de Toronto ont collabor&eacute; avec des membres de la collectivit&eacute;, des prestataires de services, des d&eacute;fenseurs des droits et des alli&eacute;s afin de donner un second souffle &agrave; la trousse d&rsquo;information concernant la communaut&eacute;&#8239;2SLGBTQI+. Motiv&eacute; par la volont&eacute; de promouvoir des soins fond&eacute;s sur le respect, l&rsquo;inclusion et la s&ucirc;ret&eacute;, le document Leading &amp; Learning WITH PRIDE vise &agrave; pr&eacute;venir la stigmatisation et la discrimination dans tous les milieux de soins, y compris les services de sant&eacute; communautaire, de sant&eacute; publique, sociaux, de sant&eacute; &agrave; domicile, de soins de longue dur&eacute;e et autres services d&rsquo;aide.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Reposant sur la th&eacute;orie de l&rsquo;intersectionnalit&eacute;, la trousse d&rsquo;information fait &eacute;tat des conseils du groupe de travail et des points de vue de personnes ayant acquis des connaissances par leur v&eacute;cu. Elle renferme aussi des exemples concrets et des ressources visant &agrave; aider les professionnels de la sant&eacute; &agrave; faire preuve de respect, d&rsquo;inclusion et de s&ucirc;ret&eacute; en prodiguant des soins aux a&icirc;n&eacute;s des communaut&eacute;s&#8239;2SLGBTQI+.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8239;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>La trousse d&rsquo;information se divise en deux sections&#8239;:&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/h3>\n<p>Partie I &ndash; Acquisition des connaissances et des comp&eacute;tences personnelles&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>ressources pour une terminologie et un langage clairs&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>aper&ccedil;u des plus r&eacute;cents travaux de recherche&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>analyse de ce qu&rsquo;implique le r&ocirc;le d&rsquo;alli&eacute; des a&icirc;n&eacute;s des communaut&eacute;s&#8239;2SLGBTQI+&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Partie II &ndash; Renforcement des capacit&eacute;s organisationnelles&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>conseils pour assurer une communication et une am&eacute;lioration continues&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>information sur la mani&egrave;re d&rsquo;&eacute;laborer les politiques et les processus&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>ressources pour aider le processus d&rsquo;&eacute;valuation&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>description de projets et d&rsquo;initiatives, par exemple des cours, de la formation, des activit&eacute;s de plaidoyer, la participation de partenaires et la cr&eacute;ation de communaut&eacute;s&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>La trousse d&rsquo;information inclut aussi un cadre d&rsquo;&eacute;valuation des soins centr&eacute;s sur le respect, l&rsquo;inclusion et la s&ucirc;ret&eacute; qui permet de mesurer les progr&egrave;s d&rsquo;un &eacute;tablissement en mati&egrave;re de soutien aux a&icirc;n&eacute;s des communaut&eacute;s&#8239;2SLGBTQI+.
