D&rsquo;autres cadres d&rsquo;analyse ont &eacute;t&eacute; cr&eacute;&eacute;s afin de comprendre la mesure dans laquelle les diverses politiques de sant&eacute; tiennent compte de certains d&eacute;terminants sociaux et structurels de la sant&eacute;. En revanche, ils ne tiennent pas toujours compte de l&rsquo;interrelation et de l&rsquo;entrecroisement entre les d&eacute;terminants. La perspective intersectionnelle aide les chercheurs, la soci&eacute;t&eacute; civile, les professionnels de la sant&eacute; publique et les responsables des politiques &agrave; envisager les injustices sociales d&rsquo;un autre &oelig;il. Elle les encourage &agrave; ne pas consid&eacute;rer les cat&eacute;gories sociales isol&eacute;ment (p. ex., sexualit&eacute;, race ou groupe ethnique, classe sociale), mais &agrave; examiner les interrelations entre les cat&eacute;gories sociales et leur incidence sur l&rsquo;iniquit&eacute; ou l&rsquo;&eacute;quit&eacute;. Le cadre d&rsquo;analyse structure l&rsquo;analyse critique des politiques de mani&egrave;re &agrave; tenir compte des multiples d&eacute;terminants d&rsquo;oppression simultan&eacute;ment et &agrave; faire &eacute;merger des solutions novatrices.
