La notion de l&rsquo;enracinement du pouvoir et de la culture dans le langage y est aussi abord&eacute;e. On y donne des exemples de termes courants qui ont pour effet de renforcer le d&eacute;s&eacute;quilibre du pouvoir et de termes qui ont pour effet de r&eacute;partir le pouvoir diff&eacute;remment.<\/p>\n<p>Le document fait la description des trois principes d&rsquo;une communication inclusive incitant &agrave; agir pour l&rsquo;&eacute;quit&eacute; en sant&eacute;&nbsp;: une communication centr&eacute;e sur la personne, sur le syst&egrave;me et sur les atouts.<\/p>\n<p>Il est question dans le document des mots courants qui mettent l&rsquo;accent sur le pr&eacute;jug&eacute;, le reproche et le d&eacute;ficit et dont il faut d&eacute;courager l&rsquo;usage dans les pratiques et les politiques de sant&eacute; publique. Pensons par exemple aux termes &agrave; la recherche d&rsquo;&eacute;quit&eacute;, marginalis&eacute;, vuln&eacute;rable, stakeholder (en anglais), r&eacute;silient, autonomiser et ainsi de suite. Les termes &agrave; privil&eacute;gier qui refl&egrave;tent les principes d&rsquo;une communication inclusive ax&eacute;e sur l&rsquo;&eacute;quit&eacute; en sant&eacute; sont &eacute;galement inclus.<\/p>\n<p>Les auteures terminent sur quelques consid&eacute;rations sur l&rsquo;influence exerc&eacute;e par nos valeurs sur les mots que nous employons et vice versa et sur des questions &agrave; d&eacute;battre pour encourager la r&eacute;flexion sur la position sociale individuelle, sur les croyances personnelles et organisationnelles au sujet de ce qui cause un &eacute;tat de sant&eacute; ou un autre, les valeurs fondamentales et les termes employ&eacute;s dans les pratiques et les documents organisationnels.<\/p>\n<h3>Servez-vous de cet outil pour&nbsp;:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>r&eacute;fl&eacute;chir &agrave; vos propres valeurs, croyances, privil&egrave;ges et positions sociales et leur influence sur vos choix de mots pour parler des questions d&rsquo;&eacute;quit&eacute; en sant&eacute;;<\/li>\n<li>examiner les plans de travail, les politiques, les plans strat&eacute;giques et autres documents d&rsquo;orientation &ndash; relevez les termes employ&eacute;s pour d&eacute;crire les groupes de population et l&rsquo;&eacute;quit&eacute; en sant&eacute; puis remplacez-les au besoin par des termes plus inclusifs;<\/li>\n<li>consid&eacute;rer votre fa&ccedil;on de faire participer les membres de la collectivit&eacute; explorer les modes d&rsquo;application concrets du glossaire pour reconna&icirc;tre les causes profondes des iniquit&eacute;s et d&eacute;terminer les mesures &agrave; prendre pour y rem&eacute;dier.<\/li>\n<li>Le document produit en 2021 et intitul&eacute;
