Ils affirment qu&rsquo;une tendance persistante est commune &agrave; la recherche, aux politiques et &agrave; la pratique en sant&eacute;&nbsp;: minimiser les facteurs structurels des iniquit&eacute;s en sant&eacute; pour mettre plut&ocirc;t l&rsquo;accent en aval sur les conditions de la vie quotidienne et les comportements individuels. Ils font remarquer que de nombreux efforts de promotion de l&rsquo;&eacute;quit&eacute; en sant&eacute; (a) ne font pas appel &agrave; l&rsquo;&eacute;ventail complet de l&rsquo;expertise et des connaissances disponibles et (b) reportent, &agrave; tort, la responsabilit&eacute; de lutter contre l&rsquo;injustice syst&eacute;mique &agrave; d&rsquo;autres parties prenantes du syst&egrave;me, y compris aux membres des groupes &agrave; qui l&rsquo;&eacute;quit&eacute; est refus&eacute;e. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"background-color:white\"><span style=\"background-color:white\"><span style=\"color:#212121\">Pour combler le foss&eacute; entre les bonnes intentions et l&rsquo;action efficace, les auteurs proposent le cadre Systematic Equity Action-Analysis (SEA) (figure&nbsp;1, p.&nbsp;4). Ils d&eacute;crivent ce cadre d&rsquo;analyse-action syst&eacute;matique en &eacute;quit&eacute; comme un outil polyvalent &laquo;&nbsp;ancr&eacute; dans la th&eacute;orie relationnelle et dans les approches pratiques critiques et anti-oppressives en sciences et en pratique de la sant&eacute;<\/span><\/span>&nbsp;<span style=\"background-color:white\"><span style=\"color:#212121\">&raquo; [traduction] (p.&nbsp;3). Point important, les auteurs affirment que l&rsquo;utilisation de ce cadre offre une m&eacute;thode concr&egrave;te pour &laquo;&nbsp;reconna&icirc;tre de mani&egrave;re explicite et interrompre leurs propres enchev&ecirc;trements dans les syst&egrave;mes d&rsquo;oppression et d&rsquo;injustice qui se recoupent et qui sont &agrave; l&rsquo;origine des iniquit&eacute;s et les maintiennent&nbsp;&raquo; [traduction] (p.&nbsp;1)<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Exemples de cas explicatifs<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"background-color:white\"><span style=\"color:#212121\">Les lecteurs trouveront tr&egrave;s utiles les exemples de cas qui illustrent l&rsquo;application du cadre SEA (tableaux&nbsp;1 et 2, pp.&nbsp;8&ndash;10).
